I read somewhere in this forum that you think there are 4 different ways a 2 handed backhand player can position his arms. Would you agree that andre's arms are both straight with a slight wrist cock? If he has one of the best backhands on the game, especially on the return, then maybe this is the stroke to teach.

Also, Pat D is a friend of mine. That belt he has made is great.

It's a great backhand. Agree his arms are straight at contact. I am going to write a series on this. Not sure that the model is absolute. It probably depends on the person. Agassi is the only one who hits it quite that way and most of the women hit with a much more left-handed forehand style. There are two styles that seem to be inbetween. Most men hit with the front arm bent and back arm straight. A good test: is the player better with a one-handed backhand or a left-handed forehand?
