Do you know of Brett Hobden's work, specifically Modern Tennis? His website is unfinished, but looks like it will be quite good. You and him are the best observers of the modern game. I'd love to see you both work together.

Sure I know Brett. Funny you should mention it--we have an article with him in the works. Don't buy his extreme distinctions between so-called old school and so called modern (as I have told him!) It's not black and white the way he thinks. But he has some good analysis of the shot varieties in the modern game.

His description of the 7 types of forehands is very interesting. On his site, he has this cool GPS Navigation system that allows users to pick different shots, from different areas of the court, in different situations--really cool stuff. It's great to see you guys collaborating. Keep pushing the envelope.
