Dr. Don Pompan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine and an interest in biomechanics and injury prevention. A former captain of the Harvard University tennis team, he qualified twice for the NCAA individual championships. Dr. Pompan continues to play and has remained a dedicated student of the game, having coached his two children, Josh and Alyssa. Josh went on to become a two-time, second team All-Ivy at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Pompan has the unique qualification of not only having competed and coached, but also has deep knowledge of the biomechanics of stroke production.
