Matt Pressman has a deep background in tennis, media, and publishing. In 2023, he acquired Florida Tennis magazine to expand its print and digital reach. A standout junior player, he trained at Saddlebrook’s Harry Hopman Tennis Academy and later with Brian Barker, longtime coach of world No. 4 James Blake. He captained the University of Connecticut men’s tennis team on a Division 1 scholarship and earned Big East Academic All-Star honors.

Pressman began his media career in New York at Men’s Fitness and Quincy Jones’ VIBE before co-founding the creative agency Project 2050. There, he collaborated with Shepard Fairey and global brands including Nike, Target, and EA Sports, earning recognition for his creative innovation.

In 2012, Pressman founded EVANNEX, a pioneering electric-vehicle accessories company later acquired by Enthusiast Auto Holdings. Today, he combines his passions for tennis, storytelling, and design as publisher of Florida Tennis.
