The Secret History of Tennis in Cincinnati!

Did you know that the first tennis club in America was founded in Cincinnati? Did you that players from that club played the first international team competition against Great Britain eighteen years before the Davis Cup?

How about that amateur tennis legends Bill Talbert and Tony Trabert came from Cincinnati and trained together at the Cincinnati Tennis Club?

This year we went to the Cincinnati Masters Event to film and saw for ourselves the incredible love for the game and support tennis has there, as well as the high tennis knowledge level of the fans.

To be honest I'd wondered why Cincinnati of all places had a Masters level event--but now I know--and also why the event is on it's way to becoming a combined men's and women's event like Indian Wells and Miami.

The club scene in Cincinnati is fantastically avid as well. And they have their own tennis museum right there on the tournament grounds. Which is where I saw this short documentary on the secret life of tennis in Cincinnati--Check it out for yourself and enjoy! We'll be sharing some of our incredible footage from this event over the next few months, starting with our new High Speed footage of Rafael Nadal, (Click Here) and the footage of Andy Murray's amazing return in the Interactive Forum.(Click Here.)
