Now let's look at one of the most discussed aspects in learning or improving the motion. Is the classic trophy position a pre-requisite for having a high level technical serve? The answer is no. The trophy position represents one point in the windup, but has no value in and of itself unless it leads to the critical key positions of racket drop, hand and arm rotation, and contact point location.
