Alcaraz wins in four sets.
Alcaraz drops sets here and there to players but nonetheless most of the time he's head and shoulders above the rest of the field, save Mr Djokovic of course.

I saw the first set and a half, which was strewn with errors by Eubanks. He must have improved a lot to then go on and win the match. Court 2 is a horrible court and many a top player has been sent packing on it. I remember watching John McEnroe lose to Tim Gullikson in 1979 on that court. It's an unsettling court with a funny atmosphere to it. It used to be nicknamed the 'graveyard'.Originally posted by stroke View PostUp next for Chris it looks like Med. And what a superb likeable post match on court interview. He definitely has a career in broadcasting way in his future. It will certainly be all on his racquet vs Med. Can he rain down enough timely winners?

Tsitsipas in trouble down a break at 0-1 5th set. It has not been a particularly great match for either player, but Eubanks has competed well and seems to be heating up at the right time.

Absolutely! Major change. I credit Goran.Originally posted by stotty View PostHurcatz probably can't believe he's two sets down after a first percentage of over 80%.
Novak is recognised for he's great defensive skills but the last couple of years have seen him defend less and less in rallies in my view. He seems to be switching much more often to dishing it out.

Jim, Serena just tweeted you have no idea what is up. Womens tennis is what all want to see. ESPN knows what the people want!

Seriously. I had to use Google to find the score. Not under Wimbledon site's "Live", because it stopped in some fashion, so I go to "Results". But it isn't under results, so that's either a mistake or it was suspended. I go to "Order" for tomorrow and it's not there. OK, they haven't had time and scheduling can take a while so ...
I go to "News". Nothing.
Ah, but Wimbledon has posted to Twitter that the match is "suspended" because, I presume, the 11 pm curfew. But with zero details.
Ah, finally! Google shows Novak won two tiebreaks. Thank you Sergey Brin.

Does that mean it's not televised on main ESPN channel? That would be awful.Originally posted by stroke View PostWell tomorrow, the match of the day in my opinion, not that it matters, is up 2nd match on court 2, Stef vs Chris. Such a woke take by Wimbledon, not that it matters, or anyone cares. That being said, this scheduling blunder will not be lost on the fans. This is the match of the tournament.

Yes, a lot of us are looking forward to that one.
