Rune simply not competitive in 2nd round first match of tournament loss to Nakashima. Fucsovic takes out FAA in 3. Musetti out in his first match of tournament. Sheldon and Eubanks with nice wins.

Safiullin all over Zverev out there. One would never know he is number 50 in the world vs number 10 Zverev. Safiullin has a Karatsev like game, great technique and pop off of all shots. Zverev has not played badly at all, he is just getting beaten by a better tennis player.

Suddenly, Sed Korda wakes up. Haven't seen this Seb since he was injured at the Australian Open. Beats Medy in straight sets, replicating their AO match.

Love this stat from Tennis TV/Statistics but it would be more useful if we could find them ourselves and compare players: "Korda with a 1st serve accuracy of 47cm (Tour avg. 59cm) & a #ShotQuality score of 89

            Highlights and article.
Sebastian Korda delivered a high-class display to claim the biggest win of his career Sunday at the Rolex Shanghai Masters, where he downed second seed Daniil Medvedev 7-6(8), ?-? at the ATP Masters 1000 event.

Excerpt: "The American delivered a high-class display to claim the biggest win of his career Sunday at the Rolex Shanghai Masters, where he downed second seed Daniil Medvedev 7-6(8), 6-2 at the ATP Masters 1000 event.

Korda saved three set points to prevail in a compelling first-set tie-break featuring a series of all-court exchanges, although he was also grateful to three double-faults from Medvedev. The World No. 3 cut a frustrated figure in the second set and a Korda break in the second game proved enough for the 26th seed to secure an impressive one-hour, 28-minute win.

Korda is very good. So many good players out there. I think tennis is returning to the mean so to speak. The big 3 really skewed things in the Masters 1000's and the Majors. That 15 plus years reign of terror is over. It is mind boggling to look at what they did in these Masters 1000s.

                    Did THIS really just happen?

Per Jose Morgada: 21yo Ben Shelton gets the best win of his career, beating Jannik Sinner 2-6, 6-3 7-6(5) to reach the QFs in Shanghai. That's not only the first ATP M1000 QFs of Shelton's career, but also his first ever ATP QFs! Big moment for him. Faces Korda next.

Uploading stroke's stat table for quicker viewing {& thanks for sharing stroke). Ending TB and only 4 points separate them, which basically comes on the serve. Again, Jannik is a Top 5 returner and Ben did this vs him.

No doubt Sheldon has one of the best serves in tennis. Him being a lefty in addition, he may have the biggest weapon out there now that the 3 giants are not really on the tour right now.

Grigor and his beautiful game gets his biggest win in years over Alcaraz. Sure was good to see him play so well and get rewarded.

                            Grigor in his own words.

Sheldon serving at 2-3 in first set tiebreaker, serve was called out, Sheldon challenges, Korda concedes the point in the highest level of sportsmanship. Hawkeye later showed serve was out.
