TDI Site Offers New Tennis Stats

Tennis Data Innovations (TDI), part of the ATP, has a new site with more tennis stats.

So far, the only truly "new" items are adding TDI's shot quality metrics to box scores for matches.

The screen grab here shows those for the Madrid final (which, by the way, I believe has the highest combined metrics between winner and runner up of any match this year.)

That forehand shot quality from Ruud tells the tale. And he works so hard out there to get as many forehands as he can. I would have loved to have seen that stat on Nadal during his reign of terror on clay.
