    • Degree is difficulty on that last Sinner forehand winner for the 2nd set is off the charts

      • Sinner’s level is just so high now. Carlos doesn’t seem to know what to do. His off the cuff creative stuff has done nothing to stop Sinner thus far. Dare I say it, he needs to slow the game down with more spin and height…and wait longer.

        • Carlos 2-1 up in the fourth

The spaniard has steadied the ship quite nicely and has settled into a consistent rhythm, something he desperately needed to do. Sinner starting to make errors…and the crowd have parked themselves firmly in Carlos’s corner.

              • Sinner got nervous and Carlos just took off…5-5. Definitely Big 3 level tennis.

He was sitting there at the changeover thinking about his speech when he won. It's a very nervy experience trying to serve out a set, match or a tournament final. The pressure in a Grand Slam final is not to be underestimated and this is why the serve must be frictionless and greased. Carlos has a bit of a hitch. Something that is less than fluid. We'll see if he can recover. After a letdown like that...it might be difficult to regain his nerve. I don't think that he is terribly intelligent so this might actually work to his advantage.
