  • double handed backhand slice (baseline)

    Don,
does it make any sense to teach double handed backhand slice ( from a baseline)?
    regards,
    Julian
    PS To rephrase a question:
Say one has a student who has:
1.double handed flat/topspin backhand as a default for backhand
    2.a single handed backhand volley

Do we add a double handed backhand slice ( from a baseline) to a list of skills?

Perhaps it would be a nice addition to the list, but I would put it at the bottom with nowhere near the priority of learning to hit a competent one-handed slice backhand. Especially since the student has a single handed backhand volley.
