Interesting differences in flat, slice and spin serves
It's kind of interesting to note the differences in his backswing on the three serves he demonstrates here. On the flat serve his elbow goes up too high and then drops as we have been discussing in another thread on this forum; his left hand also clearly goes too far back on the toss (ala Nadal). Then his slice serve looks almost ideal, except that the left hand is just a tiny bit too far back. Then on the spin serve (I assume he means 2nd serve topspin), his elbow gets a little bit above the shoulder line and the hand is a little back again (more to be expected on a second serve), but overall the mechanics look pretty good.
