  • Nishikori and Andujar

Nishikori and Andujar played a great match. Both similar styles: long groundstrokes, drop shots, great net attacks, great all court play. Nishikori's greater experience counted at the critical point at the final game of the match. This is entertaining tennis, not just endless baseline duels. Hope both do well in Paris.

    Totally agree Phil.

Good match to watch. Not sure what it is, I just have a hard time watching Nishikori and getting behind him. Not blown away by his game Pleasantly surprised by Andujar. He played great to beat David Ferrer. Andujar played Nishikori tough, was coming to the net, forceful approach shots and willing to create opportunities. Nishikori too strong but I hope Andujar builds on success this week and carries Momentum into Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros

Nishikori has the fastest unit turn out there right now, like a Ninja coiling and uncoiling. Very fast. Maybe the fastest I've ever seen on the run unit turn wise. Worth watching for that alone.
