Great series. Had me all the way and at the end, well, sometimes the biggest pursuits are the ones we have with ourselves. Connors was a conduit into a sub-conscious and the ignition for an inner fire that the author had always wanted. What Connors gave out there on the court (everything) Mr. Drucker wanted to give to his own career, on his terms.
Great piece. As I mentioned in response to Part 1, I was never a Connors fan, simply for the fact that he was an enigma to me. But I'm now intrigued about this man from the Midwest. Helluva player, helluva competitor.
