Homophobe. That's right. True too of Warner Todd Huston, the author of this horrid article, horrid like anybody who writes articles for Breitbart "News" or supports it by regularly reading it.

"Clearly," writes Huston, "someone's achievements in any particular field should be invalidated if they don't agree with the left's political opinions."

What a specious conclusion! And what a stuffed stiff this person Huston, reactionary like Margaret Court, is! What's clear is that horrid homophobes, worse than deplorable, will say anything to advance their horrid agenda.

And what is this agenda really about? An effort of insecure people to feel superior by marginalizing and disparaging minority groups.

From the "Donald Trump for President" thread 3/10/2017 9:47 AM...post #1438. Transmission as follows

Vladimir Putin and Fyodor Dostoyevsky...the same page

Here is Vladimir Putin speaking about traditional values...which is why liberals hate Russia. Which explains why they...liberals...are using Russia to try and take down the duly elected President of the United States of America.

      http://russia-insider.com/en/putin-c...-video/ri19147

"We see that many Euro-Atlantic (the West) states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western Civilization. In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied...national, religious, cultural and even gender identities are being denied or relativized. There, politics treats a family with many children as equal to a homosexual partnership (juridically); faith in God is equal to faith in Satan. The excesses and exaggerations of political correctness in these countries indeed leads to serious consideration for the legitimizations of parties that promote the propaganda of pedophilia."

"The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliations and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or "neutrally" renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method on hides away the deeper moral value of these celebrations. And these countries try to force this model onto other countries, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and privatization (of culture) this leads to deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West."

"What can be a better evidence for the moral crisis of a human society (in the West) than the loss of its reproductive function? And today nearly all "developed" Western countries cannot survive reproductively, even with the help of migrants. Without the moral values that are rooted in Christianity and other world religions, without rules and moral values which have formed and developed over millennia, people will inevitably lose their human dignity. And we think it is right and natural to defend and preserve these moral (Christian) values. One has to respect the right of every minority to self-determination but at the same time there cannot and must not be any doubt about the rights of the majority."

"At the same time as this process at a national level (in the West) we observe on an international level the attempts to create a unipolar, unified model of the world, to relatives and remove institutions of international right and international sovereignty. In such a unipolar unified world there is no place for sovereign states. Such a world news merely vassals. From a historical perspective, such a unipolar world (of the USA) would mean the surrender of one's identity and of the God-created diversity."

Eerily reminiscent of the thoughts of a character in the prophetic novel of Fyodor Dostoyevsky..."The Devils". "The Possessed" in other words.

There has never been one instance of it, except only for a moment, out of folly. Socialism is by its very nature bound to be atheistic because it has proclaimed from the very first that it is an atheistic institution and that it intends to organize itself exclusively on the principles of science and reason. Reason and science have always, today and from the very beginning of time, played a secondary and a subordinate part; and so they will to the end of time. Peoples are formed and moved by quite a different force, a force that dominates and exercises its authority over them, the origin of which, however, is unknown and inexplicable. That force is the force of an unquenchable desire to go on to the end and, at the same time, to deny the existence of an end. It is the force of an incessant and persistent affirmation of its existence and a denial of death. It is the spirit of life, as the Scripture says, “rivers of living water”, the running dry of which is threatened in Revelation. It is the aesthetic principle, as the philosophers call it, an ethical principle, with which they identify it, the “seeking of God”, as I call it much more simply. The purpose of the whole evolution of a nation, in every people and at every period of its existence, is solely the pursuit of God, their God, their very own God, and faith in Him as in the only true one. God is the synthetic personality of the whole people, taken from its beginning to its end. It has never happened that all of many peoples should have one common God, but every people has always had its own special one. The first sign of the decay of nations is when they begin to have common gods. When gods begin to be common gods, the gods die as well as the faith in them, together with the peoples themselves. The more powerful a nation, the more individual its god. There has never yet been a nation without a religion, that is to say, without the conception of good and evil and its own good and evil. When the conceptions of good and evil become general among many nations, then these nations begin to die out, and the very distinction between good and evil begins to get blurred and to vanish. Reason has never been able to define good and evil, or even to separate good from evil, not even approximately; on the contrary, it had always mixed them up in a most pitiful and disgraceful fashion; as for science, its solutions have always been based on brute force. This was particularly true of the half-science, that most terrible scourge of mankind, worse than pestilence, famine, or war, and quite unknown till our present century. Half-science is a depot such as has never been known before. A despot that has its own priests and slaves, a despot before whom everybody prostrates himself with love and superstitious dread, such as has been quite inconceivable till now, before whom science itself trembles and surrenders in a shameful way."
When traditional values are scrapped...what is there to fill the void? Look at tennis as it metaphors life once again. What happened to tennis when the powers that be elected to scrap the tradition? It has floundered in the wind unable to find stability. The current state of the game suggests a total collapse.

I'm a liberal and I don't hate Russia. I love Russia and Russian Literature and especially loved my red-haired In-Tourist guide in Tashkent. "I am Tartar," she said.

Regardless, this is not Putin at his most intelligent. That was when Putin gave a shrewd analysis of the Iraq war for western readers.

Here, the invective is just a lot of ignorance of actual American culture. Unleavened by any admission of the spy culture that Putin himself imposes on poor old Russia.

Russia had a strong tradition of Christianity. Is Putin passing himself off here as a traditional Christian? Does he know that the First Commandment in Christianity, "Thou shalt not kill" means that Pootie-baby is not supposed to kill journalists either?

Also, Donald Trump was not duly elected. He was dully elected.
