    IMO there are tradeoffs with how much "windshield wiper" motion you use.
    pro: more spin, variety, etc...
    con: more "complicated" stroke to contact,.... therefore more things can go wrong when under pressure.
    simon, hewitt come to mind when it comes to "simple" 2hbh, with minimal windshield. they also weren't really known for attacking (or variety) with their bh.

    Good question and likely true! Sock is similar with stronger grip extreme wiper.

    In Nadal's case, does his grip with his right hand govern things a bit? His right hand looks a little more extreme than other players? Do his grips govern, to some extent, how much his racket would point down, resulting in his extreme wiper? I wouldn't have a clue so am curious to know if there is a relationship between grips and more extreme wipers?
