Alexandra Stevenson is a former professional tennis player, coach, and broadcaster best known for her historic run at Wimbledon in 1999. At just 18 years old, Stevenson became the first woman in the Open Era to reach the Wimbledon semifinals as a qualifier, winning eight matches and capturing global attention with one of the most powerful serves in the women’s game. She went on to reach a career-high ranking of No. 18 in the world and competed in the top 100 for five consecutive years.
Renowned for her explosive delivery—often exceeding 110 mph and featuring the fastest second serve on tour—Stevenson trained with renowned coaches Angel Lopez and Pete Fischer. Since retiring from the tour, she has transitioned into coaching, broadcasting, and media, serving as a tennis analyst for ESPN and hosting the podcast Serving Aces. Stevenson now works with players of all levels while continuing to advocate for tennis, storytelling, and social impact through sport.
