Dr. Brian Gordon is one of the leading authorities in tennis biomechanics, redefining how high-level stroke mechanics are analyzed and taught. He holds a Doctorate in Biomechanics with a Motor Control minor from Indiana University and a Master’s in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado. In addition to his tennis work, Gordon has coached and analyzed elite athletes with USA Swimming and USA Track & Field, deepening his understanding of human movement across multiple sports.

Gordon is the creator of the Biomechanically Engineered Stroke Technique (BEST), the only fully empirically validated stroke-mechanics system in tennis. BEST informs technical development for top juniors, collegiate athletes, and professionals.

His research has been published in scientific journals and featured in the New York Times, Tennis Magazine, and CBS 60 Minutes. He is also a founder of the Tennis Center for Performance Research in Miami, a pioneering initiative advancing a new paradigm in player development.
