Matt Previdi is a teaching pro at the famed La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club and has been named coach of the year by the San Diego division of the USPTA. He also coaches boys' high school tennis at La Jolla High School. Originally from Connecticut, Matt has been a ranked tournament player since the age of 14, and he and his father have also held the number one father and son ranking in New England. In addition to his teaching career Matt is an acclaimed professional stringer who has worked on the tour at Indian Wells, as well as at elite junior and college tournaments.
